Still, there is a great movement in the story, plot, cinematography and twists that sets it apart.

LTD with its twists and turns have become quite a nightmare. When the introvert boy has became overly dependent with a girl up to the point of obsession. He also becomes more and more closed up with all his dealings. If a love story becomes sweeter by the minute, the movie is anti-romantic. Each of tem learns more and more about the quirks, the past and any other bits and pieces that instead of endearing them to one another, has some other effects.

There is also a mind boggling puzzle that falls from the movie’s structure. The plot is quite clear, however, the story is not presented in its best form. It can even go on saying that the movie is upside down. It actually challenges how conventional film making are. Still, experience is one factor that Ryan Arnold would need to work on.

The screenplay, also by Ryan Arnold, is also intriguing. There is a kind of movement that makes it quite a thriller while keeping audience in a thinking mode and torn on characters’ decisions. This coincides with cinematography works by Catherine Lutes. Lighting looks just as great, this is further given life by original music provided by Steve Nelson. A team assemble by James Moore has brought to life LTD at its best.

Randy Morgan with a Mark Twain bogus line would already give you an idea of what the whole movie is going to be. The movie starring Swimmy, Ron Browder, Amerika and the director cast Randy Morgan, has made the film quite a fetch. It is entertaining with quite a few catch, stitch and bandage along the way.

Imagine what a horror it would have been for a mummy to wake up in a different era with a whole lot of different attitudes. However, the horror is not quite right in the movie. The mummy, with all its colorful precious jewels, would have made out with a lot recruits for fulfilling his ‘destiny’.

The mummy, though the main cast (no pun intended), looks as real as it can get. No wonder there is an artifact war. His culture shock did not go far though. He seems to have overcome this in the first fifteen minutes of the movie. On top of that, he would have become a more suitable piece as he passes from Hollywood all the way to Las Vegas doing his drinking, fighting, and screwing.

The first few minutes composed of almost topless ladies would have bored many but then a curious fifteen year old would have been introduced to female anatomy by the mere sight. Still, a movie that has topless women would be just as comedic. Director Randy Morgan would have done better with the editing to make sure the exposure did not get as far as two minutes.

Liquor-laden almost throughout the film is the detective that has contributed to some of the few hearty laughs that you would get from the movie. The comedic scenes would have been ridiculous only if you are one without a sense of humor. There is no doubt that a minute can go by in two seconds in a film but an unreasonable 11:34 that skipped to 12:56 within just almost a couple of seconds without anything happening would be quite well, unreasonable.

The fillers would also be just as shocking. Sure fillers are sometimes used in moderation for the film. But the use of fillers would actually amount to almost half of the film. Surely, Amerika as the motel receptionist would be just as hilarious if not for Randy Morgan’s actual story plot.

A lot of prostitute exposure would have been quite a catch but the sexual humor could be a bit too much for some. Actually, if not for the silly mummy, the movie would have been on top of a sexual film galore. Still, the Kung Fu Mummy has made the movie a pretty funny, albeit the shallow plot, entertaining loot.

If you are not really a comic person, you would probably get bored with the movie or simply slip into a trance of meditation. Still, the movie would be great for passing the time while getting a few peeps into female anatomy and a few laughs. Randy Morgan did great with the scenes too bad he can not do anything more with the plot.

Water is a movie that portrays the opposition of two very different sensibilities on the part of writer and director Deepa Mehta. Mehta’s other motivation is that she wanted to show the main idea of the film in as minimal a way as possible. The end result has become a movie that is amazing and eccentric at the same time and one that can jump into the main point that will shock people into taking action.

The subject was so sensitive to the people whom Mehta and her crew enraged in India, that they had no choice but to go to Sri Lanka where George Lucas assisted them in their cause. What, pray, tell, is the reason for all the hostility? It is the issue of what is called as widow wastage.

A long time ago, widow wastage was the immolation of a widow on her husband’s funeral pyre. This is because a woman with no husband is just a burden to society and is better dead. That practice was discontinued 70 years ago only to be replaced by an allegedly more human alternative. Now, a widow becomes consigned to an ashram.

This is a sort of boarding house for widows, sentenced for all of their lives to be imprisoned no matter what her age is. They live with other widows in isolation while living on charity, subsistence gardening and the occasional if only discreet kind of prostitution. There is no limit on the age because even a 10 year old child bride is subject to this kind of fate if she has become a widow.

In the movie, Chuiya, the main female protagonist is played by Sarala, a talented Indian child actress. Chuiya is left at an ashram by her father who disagrees to that kind of treatment but has no choice in the matter at all.

After a heart-wrenching scene where the doors to the ashram are forever sealed for Chuiya, the audience begins to discover who she really is; a resilient and determined girl. Very soon she has made uproar in the ashram with her unrelenting energy, curiosity and overall optimism.

The boarding house movie shows Chuiya going from room to room where she discovers different kinds of women like Kalyani, a beautiful widow played by Lisa Ray, who is much to energetic to choose silence in the ashram. Gulabi, who is played by Raghuvir Yadav, is the matriarchal figure who presides over the ashram.

Shakuntala is played by Seema Biswas. Shakuntala is an embittered, middle-aged woman who Chuiya finds is extremely capable if only she were not in the same predicament as the other widows.

The movie revolves around the worst experiences that these women have to face in their ashrams. Mehta feels that to shock and outrage the audience she needed to show them the truth, no matter how horrifying the thought of it all is. The movie will keep the audience riveted and the exemplary acting talent of the cast will take your breath away.

These are seen in various flashbacks throughout the movie. Fred Schepisi, who wrote and directed the film, chose distinguishing experiences for the characters to ponder and look back to which made the whole story much more intelligently written.

These experiences are graciously written in detail so the audience will easily discover what the writer wishes them to learn from that particular moment. Most of the character relationships are clichéd but you will not be disappointed with the end result. One example would be Jack’s relationship with Jack. It is obvious that the father and son had issues stemming from Vince’s adolescence experience because that is considered to be the norm.

Still, the domestic workings of Jack and Vince’s relationship makes their interactions surprising and spontaneous even with the usual arguments that have been heard in many other films.

However, just like the many films that are based on the British working class, there is that factor of the dialects that make the conversations difficult to understand. This makes the whole friendship and relationships in the film seem more realistic but the dialogue needed to dissect the emotional instances in the film confuse the non-Brit audience and make it hard for them to know what is really going on. The only things you can rely on are the facial expressions and even then it’s not useful when there are certain secrets that are being revealed.

Last Orders may be one of the underappreciated films that give pride to the acting and thematic perception that not many offer. The cast is able to portray the enjoyable relationship that has made them stronger every time they faced a test in their life. Their tendency to make mistakes now and again makes the characters easier to relate to as well.

This has given the movie its rating stars and will continue to touch audiences, if only they would stop and look to see if the memory is as good as what’s to come.

Wasting Away is the next in a long line of comedy-based zombie films, and yet the film succeeds in ways other films haven’t even considered. Placing a humorous focus on the emotional and love lives of the zombies, the film begins as a group of friends take big bites of contaminated slushies that, unbenounced to them, have turned them into blue-blooded drooling zombies. Filmed in black and white with the exception of a certain nuclear green sludge that turns people into zombies, the film alternatively flashes between seeing the group as they think they are and as society sees them.

With such a comedic effect, it is hard to imagine a more fun way to approach the themes of societal interconnectedness and views on one’s personal self. In one scene, the group is in a bowling alley, and two of the primary actors begin to kiss (viewed from their perspective, this seems like any ordinary teeny bopper Tuesday night special). But a moment later, and the audience is given another view of the situation, as two decaying corpses are smothering each other with slime and bacteria.

The quest to find a cure and to express themselves in the face of total misunderstanding is an interesting one, and is something worth considering in a little more detail. For example, the group of unwitting zombies might think they are harmless, and yet when seen from the societal point of view, they are ripping brains out of innocent people. So we have innocents killing innocents out of total misunderstanding and inability to see reality for what it is.

From another point of view, the zombies can seemingly see clearly the actions of others, making out when someone is pointing a gun, or cutting off a zombie hand – and yet the people with the guns can’t understand the motives or actions of the group of zombies. It is an interesting proposition to consider what role outer appearance plays in the way society views us.

The film is well-done as a whole and fully worthy of the critical acclaim it has thus far received. Zombie fans should enjoy the film, though one should not expect realistic or engaging scenes of real zombie madness, since the overall theme of the film seems to focus around self-identity and self-expression, with full-blown comedic effects. Whatever your tastes, you will definitely find portions of them in this horror – comedy masterpiece! People were expecting to see just another low budget zombie movie that is not interesting, however they were absolutely shocked at its first premiere in Japan when they saw its exquisiteness. Although the lighting in dark and night times was not very good due to the low budget, people were still able to understand the movie just as fine. The sounds and music, on the other hand, were absolutely spectacular and high quality.

The main thing that lures the people into watching the movie Colin is its story; the story and the concept are just so strong! The plot of Colin is in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, the movie does not waste much time on explaining how this happened, like many other movies do by spending most of the movie just talking about the incident and how it happened instead of the main event. “Colin” simply focuses on one zombie and follows his journey from death to life again. While many other movies depict zombies as faceless and monstrous creatures, “Colin” chooses one zombie with a face half-eaten and makes him feel so real as if that could really happen.

At many points during the movie, the viewers actually felt sympathy for Colin, the main character, as he wanders across London, dazzled, bewildered, confused, and does not know what to do. Some human survivors cross his path during the journey and offer snapshots of other untold stories. Colin even comes across a man who is being eaten to death by some other zombies; it is impossible to figure out how Marc Price, the director of the movie, could afford making such advanced visual and special effect with a very, very low budget! The movie contains many different points of views that could be summed up and arranged like a jigsaw puzzle to reveal a bigger chaos than the one Colin is living in.

Colin is the perfect movie for zombie movie lovers because it really provides an insight to what the life of a typical zombie might be like. The movie Colin should be available for people everywhere and should be viewed by a larger audience; Marc Price must be a really clever man to be able to produce such a great movie with forty pounds. Baise-Moi (directed by Virginie Despentes) is a French film every film aficionado should see, if only to say you’ve seen it. Starring Karen Lancaume and Raffaëla Anderson, the violent and sexual plot reveals deep themes about the relationship between men and women and the nihilistic ties that can grow in these relationships when things go wrong. Very few films can successfully have a mix of sex, violence, and nihilism and still give the audience a feeling of accomplishment and hope in the end, but this film does just that.

The film itself is based on a novel that is also titled “Baise-Moi” (literally “Kiss Me” in English) by the author Virginie Despentes. Everything rips apart in Manu’s life after she gets brutally raped and left to her own devices, and when another fateful woman named Nadine then witnesses a friend’s violent and brutal shooting murder, the two decide to hit to the road in escapades of violence, sexual deviation, and self-humiliation after they happen to meet each other and really click.

The real sex scenes in the movie are something that any discussion of this film simply cannot ignore. They have left countless audience members either shocked or mesmerized, depending on their tastes. One is hard-pressed to decide what the outcome of the sexual encounters is – was it the men who further humiliated these two women, or did the women truly exact their revenge in some perverse manner?

In either case, a second theme of the road-trip through the French landscapes and hillsides is a full revolt against modern society and its excesses. Fuelled by the rage and humiliation of what they had experienced in the past, Manu and Nadine are clearly taking out their revenge on a world that never once showed them any pity.

Stranger movies have been made, and despite its attempt at true nihilism, it is hard not to find meaning as the film progresses. Their attacks on everything that has hurt them in the past make the audience realize that these two women are not so much moral nihilists but disillusioned and frustrated idealists looking for a cause. At each sexual encounter, at each act of violence, there is an ideal slipping through their hands, and they see it and are all the more enraged at the fact. If you are looking for a thrill, some deviance, and a touch (or maybe a fistful) of sex, then find this film and watch it before your friends find out. This film was nominated for Grand Prix Asturias, Golden Leopard and Bronze Horse.
